Crafting Bullet Cufflinks for Charity

Written by on August 27, 2012 in Crafting for Charity with 1 Comment

Talk about an interesting way to make use of your crafting talent, how about to benefit your favorite charity? That’s what Kathy and Rick have done. Rick is the crafter of bullet jewelry and other items. He recycles spent shells from bullets and makes them into specialty items like cufflinks. Kathy makes great use of her organizing talent to handle the admin side of their business. They have both a website, A Well Dressed Bullet, and an Etsy store.

But they are also caring and giving people. They have made a special bullet cufflink just to benefit the BuckHawk Center Animal Rescue. These two donate all their supplies and time so that the full price of the item goes to charity.

Think about what of your special craft talents could benefit a charity? Do you make things and sell them on websites like Etsy? Do you make and sell things on your own website? What about eBay? Did you know you can donate a portion of the sales price to an eBay approved charity? Take a little time and see who you can offer some help to. Your favorite charity is in need of fund raising. That much we can all guarantee you. What can you do to help?

Kathy and Rick are doing their part with their bullet cufflinks. So show them what in inspiration they are to you. Visit their site, A Well Dressed Bullet, or purchase a pair or two of their wonderful charity cufflinks. We all want to thank these generous talented crafters.

Kathy and Rick are awesome artists and caring people. Two of the best as far as I am concerned! Bullet cufflinks, pens and other repurposed items means they are eco friendly as well. They are treasurers for sure!
